Art As a Protest
In Lithuania, in the former territory of Kaunas Aviation Factory in Aleksotas, an artistic protest appeared on a concrete wall. It is the internationally acclaimed Romanian artist's Dan Perjovschi drawings, which reveals the absurdity of the war, which were carried on the wall by the street artist Tadas Å imkus.
Mr Perjovschi distributes his work free of charge: he donates his royalties to support the war-affected Ukrainians. This artistic action is part Kaunas 2022 and Vytautas Magnus University International Congress CoHappiness programme.
